Samadhi Retreat – FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
What does Samadhi mean?
Quite simply defined Samadhi is a ‘state of peace’ or ‘ bliss’. To achieve Samadhi, is to achieve a state of perfect health. It denotes a state of higher consciousness which may be reached in meditation, where you exist in a pure state of awareness, immersed in peace, where every cell has been re-set to a natural vibration of bliss. Arising from this energy, stress and unhappiness have no place.
To step into Samadhi, is to step into a state of joy, peace, and general wellbeing. We get a taste of bliss and beingness, find truth amongst illusion, with all that remains being wholeness and perfection, or union. This complete absorption into the One life, is known as Nirvana or Enlightenment (the ocean of Love).

The retreats meditative practices incorporate mindfulness practices ( breathing, concentration, awareness ) with metta practices (loving kindness).
